Per SEnergyhas an immediate need for an Field Coordinator/Scheduler/Planner at our client, an electric utilityin the Midwest USA. This is a CONTRACTposition lasting approximately 24 months
Roles and Responsibilities:
1.Review project proposals to determine the scope of work, procedures for accomplishing the project, staffing requirements, and the available resources for various phases of the project.
2.Submit installation plans to the DISTRICT for approval prior to implementation.
3.Work in a team environment with other project staff to outline a work plan and assign duties, responsibilities, timelines, and scope of authority. Assist with problem resolution through research and provide technical advice.
4.Provide overall project coordination functions including directing and coordinating multiple tasks of a project or projects to ensure schedule adherence and maintenance of the pre-determined project plan.
5.Ensure successful implementation of assigned projects including requests for proposals, contract development, or other process support documentation. Assist the DISTRICT with special assignments concerning issues related to contracts and agreements.
6.Prepare and present project status reports to the DISTRICT and third parties as required.
7.Establish and maintain effective working relations with onsite project consultants, internal DISTRICT personnel, and external parties to ensure successful development and implementation of associated projects.
8.Develop performance indicators, perform analysis, reporting, performance monitoring of activities in relation to contracts, operation expenses, and conduct business case/financial & risk analyses as required.
9.Apply DISTRICT policy and procedures in the project design and implementation process. Recommend changes as necessary for successful implementation of assigned projects.
10.Make decisions related to the scope of the project as defined by the DISTRICTS Project Manager. Gather and analyze the facts needed to determine the critical issues relative to a project and recommend possible solutions for a positive outcome.
11.Promote a safe work environment.
12.Develop/review defensive model/strategies and contingency plans to implement procedures, work packages, and modification documents and required changes.
13.Develop/review and oversee contracting and material procurement strategies that optimize cost, schedule and quality considerations.
14. Assist with any associated regulatory issues.
15.Set-up, schedule and run meetings either at the site or off-site with members of a designated Project Team (may include third party vendors).
16.Perform walk downs at the site. Work with different disciplines at CNS.
17.Provide oversight in the field as needed to ensure a quality product is being delivered. This activity may include, but is not limited to, the generation of clearance order requests, holding of worker safety tags, completion and sign off of work orders and procedures.
18. Establish task control plans and ensure their implementation to evaluate critical elements of the work and identify variances, so corrective action can be taken in a timely manner.
19.Perform other project related duties as assigned by the DISTRICTS Project Manager.
1.Minimum of four (4) years of construction/maintenance coordination duties.
2.Previous Task/Project Coordinator experience at a nuclear facility or equivalent.
3.Background in task/project field coordination of multiple contracts at one (1) time, or complex nuclear projects, maintenance or modification activities.
4.Managed craft and supplemental employees at a commercial nuclear facility.
5.Demonstrated ability to quickly recognize solutions to complex issues in highly technical areas and then present solutions acceptable to all levels of an organization.
6.SAP experience is preferred.
7.CNS site experience preferred.
8. Planning and Scheduling Experience preferred
