Track, oversee and maintain accountability and compliance of all planned maintenance requirements regulated by the Maintenance Specification and other source documents. Review current and future planned maintenance requirements for man-power, facility, materials, tooling and required ground times to optimize available resources. Support System Operation Coordination Center in aircraft routing decisions to support aircraft positioning for Line and Base work packages.
On-time compliance of all maintenance requirements regulated by maintenance program, engineering and deferred maintenance discrepancies
Review current and future planned workloads for man-power availability, facilities and required ground time to accomplish planned events
Coordination and management of key corporate initiatives including project guidelines, resources availability, station capability and facility availability
Assist Aircraft Routing and Operations on aircraft transitions for line and base maintenance to maximize efficiency and reduce revenue loss
Meets or exceeds departmental and operational performance based goals including aircraft forecast compliance, work package preparation, manpower utilization, workload deferrals, aircraft visit rate, phase check yields, and out of service events for planned maintenance
Identifies and adjust scheduled maintenance evens to support an on-time departure while maintaining safe and reliable product
Builds and maintains professional and productive work environment between internal and external departments
Effectively corresponds and supports employees at all levels for continued success
Bachelor's degree preferred
FAA A&P Certificate required
Strong background and knowledge of aircraft maintenance systems required
Working knowledge of Maintenance Programs and aircraft routing required
Strong communication and analytical skills a must
Strong background and technical knowledge on fleet types operated and maintenance programs preferred
7 years in the aircraft maintenance industry with a minimum 3 years in management role required
4 years in the aircraft maintenance industry with a minimum 2 years in management role preferred
Regular attendance and punctuality in accordance with United's policies is required
Attendance is required at work location
