Plan and manage inventory to achieve the projects or company targets.
Plan and manage inventory for production departments.
Interact with Customer Service, Purchasing, Sales, Warehouse, Operations, Engineering to accomplish scheduling of inventories to support projects, production and 3
Interact with forecast or demand planning to ensure inventory planning is based on the most current and accurate forecast.
Provide resolution and execution to key shortage issues.
Ability to prepare and analyze the short and long-range capacity plans.
Manage the Inventory reduction project for slow, excess and obsolete materials.
Manage and maintain item master data
Supports other departments (i.e. Customer Service, Operations, Materials, Engineering, Safety, Purchasing, etc.)
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Support off-site requirements relating to ALSTOM Transport.
Other special projects assigned by Manager.
Associates Degree and 3 + years experience in Inventory control, Manufacturing or Warehouse environment.
SAP experience preferred
Microsoft Office: Excel and Word intermediate level required.
APICS and /or CPIM certification preferred
Good Phone skills. Good written/verbal communication and math skills.
