Operation and maintenance of a 4.6 MW Cogeneration Facility, including: Gas Turbine/Diesel Generators, Chilled Water Systems, Absorption Chillers, Centrifugal Chillers, Air Cooled Chillers, Heating Hot Water Systems, 120 VAC to 12 kV Electrical Systems, Fixed and Portable Fire Extinguishing Systems, Rockwell PLC Control Systems, SCADA Systems, Data Center Power and Cooling Systems, Uninterruptable Power Supply Systems, Compressed Air Systems, and Cooling Towers.
General operational and maintenance tasks, cleaning, organization, assisting contractors, troubleshooting cooling and heating systems, responding to emergencies in the plant, data center, and supported facilities, physical security, and punctuality. The operator must be able to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
The Operator will be required to work one of the following shifts:
First Shift (0700-1500, Saturday-Wednesday)
First Shift (0700-1500, Thursday-Monday)
Second Shift (1500-2300, Thursday-Monday)
Third Shift (2300-0700, Saturday-Wednesday)
Relief Shift (1500-2300, Monday-Wednesday; 2300 0700, Thursday Friday)
4 - 10 years experience in Cogeneration, Power, or Central Plant operation and maintenance in a commercial or military setting.
High School Diploma +, Trade Certificates, Journeymans License, Backflow Preventer Maintenance and Testing Certificate, HazWOper 24 Hour Certificate, Arc Flash Training (NFPA 70E), Basic First Aid, CPR, and AED, and CERT. Any training through the US Navy Engineering/Nuclear Power Schools preferred.
