Ahern Rentals is looking for a mechanic helper to stage and prep tools and equipment, complete minor preventative maintenance, assist with repairs and clean equipment to return our rental equipment back to inventory.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Transfer tools, parts, equipment, and supplies to and from work stations and other areas
Hold or supply tools, parts, equipment, and supplies for other workers
Position vehicles, machinery, equipment and other objects for assembly or installation
Adjust, maintain, and repair tools, equipment, and machines, and assist more skilled workers with similar tasks
Clean equipment with pressure washer
Maintain cleanliness and safety of the shop and yard
Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications
Must be able to pass drug test and background check
Must be able to provide Motor Vehicle Record at time of job offer (current within 15 days)
This position works indoors and outdoors, when outside, they may be exposed to poor weather conditions including extreme heat and/or cold.
