Portfolio Manager

Position may be located at any WellPoint office or 100% remote.

Responsible for managing IT budget portfolio to ensure budget objectives are met. Perform a series of work efforts with primary focus on resource capacity management, project portfolio management, and vendor contract and resource management. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Coordinate with resource managers to meet Resource Capacity Management requirements and maximize resource utilization.

Coordinate with IT Vendor Management team activities and communicate vendor management program guidelines.

Track resource expenses, coordinate/approve vendor work orders, manage on boarding, work assignments and utilization.

Enter SOW contract data to PlanView and the ensure end to end process is effective for external labor.

Reconcile timesheets to invoices; reconcile invoices to accruals; reconcile PlanView Actuals to Hyperion.

Manage month-end portfolio activities and conduct budget and capacity performance review meetings with managers

Track and maintain accurate and timely project and resource commitment reporting

Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

Requires BA/BS degree and 5+ years experience in financial management, system analysis, business re-engineering, project and resource management or related area.

Masters degree, PMP Certification, or other trade certifications preferred, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Experienced with PlanView, knowledge in Hyperion, and PeopleSoft is preferred.

Knowledge of IT Testing processes or managing test resources is preferred.

Understanding of the Enterprise Project Management Office Governance Life Cycle and Resource Capacity Management processes and procedures is preferred.

Knowledge of MS Project helpful
