Job Description
This postdoctoral position requires a highly motivated, adaptable, and capable individual with a PhD degree preferably in biochemistry or analytical chemistry.

The research involves a range of proteomics technologies and methodologies to solve exciting biological challenges, including e.g., targeted proteomics to quantify proteins for pathway analysis or verification of protein candidates for diagnosis, prognosis, and therapeutics from cells, tissues, and biofluids.

The ideal candidate may have hands-on experience in mass spectrometry, proteomics, LC separations, data analysis, computational biology, and/or possibly biology domain specific experience (such as cancer, diabetes, pathogen biology, or bioenergy research).

Research may include omics methods development, sample preparation and separation methods for enhancing reproducibility, data interpretation and candidate verification in different sample types. The successful candidate will be expected to work effectively with an interdisciplinary team of researchers, be self motivated, and have excellent communication skills.

The successful candidate is expected to assist and lead the preparation and presentation of papers, posters, reports, etc. Additionally he/she will use project management systems at PNNL, maintain an accurate laboratory notebook and adhere to Environmental Safety and Health (ES&H) Operations and security requirements and directorate/group policies.

Minimum Requirements
Candidates must have received a PhD within the past five years from an accredited college or university.
