A highly motivated candidate is sought for a fellowship to conduct research on the pathogenesis of congenital heart diseases and perinatal/fetal physiology in the lab of Prof. Pirooz Eghtesady, MD, PhD, Division of Pediatric Cardiovascular Surgery, Department of Surgery at Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, MO.
Dr. Eghtesady’s research is on the pathogenesis of congenital heart diseases and on perinatal/fetal physiology.
This appointment is for up to 2 or 3 years.
A a PhD and/or MD or equivalent degree(s) with 0-3 years postdoctoral experience and a track record of productivity as evidenced by publications are required.
Experience in cardiovascular research, molecular biology and protein analysis techniques as well as excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
The hiring range for this position is commensurate with experience.
