Job Summary/Responsibilities:
The Computational Materials group at LSU is seeking one or more positions as Postdoctoral Researcher or Senior Postdoctoral Researcher for the Louisiana Alliance for Simulation-Guided Materials Applications (LA-SiGMA) project. This position will engage in interdisciplinary research in one or more of the following areas of computational materials science: Strongly Correlated Electronic Systems, Materials for Energy storage, Molecular Dynamics, Density Functional Theory, Monte Carlo, or Materials Informatics; contribute to the development and implementation of proposals that enhance the education, research and economic development activities of the LA-SiGMA project and the LSU Center for Computation and Technology.
Required Qualifications:
(Postdoc and Sr. Postdoc) Ph.D. or equivalent degree in a discipline or related to a discipline that integrates with the areas of interest listed above (A.B.D. candidates will be considered, but must have Ph.D. prior to beginning employment); (Sr. Postdoc) three years postgraduate experience; (All Levels) demonstrated ability to contribute to the advancement of research within LA-SiGMA and at the CCT through innovative research experience and publications.
