Zensar has an exciting opportunity for a Network Sales Engineer in its Product Practice. The consultant will spend the majority of their time interfacing with customers in order to design, plan, deploy, and integrate solutions to help our customers manage their network infrastructure. You will be responsible for integrating best practices, implementing new technologies for clients, development of statements of work and serve as the point person for these initiatives. Zensar engineers have a great deal of autonomy and are expected to be able to manage their time effectively.
Deliver the latest offerings from the Zensar product line working on-site and remotely performing the below tasks:
Pre Sales Tasks:
Analyze and understand client’s IT requirements, organization functions, and decision making processes
Present and articulate appropriate firewall product to fulfill client’s needs
Produce a solution that fulfills client’s needs within budget and schedule constraints
Post Sales Tasks:
Deliver against Statements of Work (SoW)
Work on-site and remotely with customers both individually and in teams
Integrate, assess, and deploy network products based on customer needs and best practices
Document work performed for the customer based on deliverables outline in the SoW
Participate in technical training and product updates in order to stay current in the market
Work both independently and with other network security engineers including sub-contractors
Work across multiple projects and track the time and work done for each project to be submitted bi-monthly.
2+ years experience working with Infoblox solutions including design, implementation and upgrade
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present technical material to both technical and non-technical audiences
Strong background in networking such as TCP/IP, routing and switching protocols.
Motivated to be successful and has a “customer first” attitude.
Travel: Up to 75% within New England
Previous pre-sales experience and a security background
Strong understanding of change management and staying within the bounds of the SoW
Ability to project manage pre-implementation and post-implementation tasks until all aspects of the SOW are completed
Highly proficient at giving technical presentations to technical and non-technical audiences
