Retained executive search firm DHR International (www.dhrinternational.com) is pleased to partner with Denver Zoo (www.denverzoo.org) in its search for a new President/CEO. With nearly 2 million visitors annually and spanning 85 acres within Denver’s historic City Park, Denver Zoo is committed to securing a better world for animals through human understanding. It is managed under a cooperative agreement with the City and County of Denver by the Denver Zoological Foundation. As a voting member of the foundation’s board of trustees, the President/CEO will be a spokesperson, fundraiser, and strategic advisor as well as responsible for day-to-day leadership of zoo operations. The role of the President/CEO is to ensure there is financial, political and community support so the needs of the multiple constituencies are met. A full job description is available upon request.
