REQUISITION#: 14-00021

LOCATION: Social Services - Benefit Programs

SHIFT: Monday - Friday between 8:30 - 5:00 p.m.

Establishes and maintains customer accounts with require collection and all fiscal operations for the department's Fraud Unit. Performs data entry; prepares forms and reports; adheres to state and county guidelines for reporting. Receives and posts payments; answers telephone and provides quality customer service. Performs other work as required.

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED and two years of clerical accounting/bookkeeping experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs; a general knowledge of basic accounting principles. Previous accounting/fiscal experience in a collections environment preferred. Ability to work in a deadline oriented, flexible and dynamic environment; capable of communicating in a professional business manner; have excellent customer service skills and work as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual preferred.

Special Requirements
Good driving record required. Must not reflect a total accumulation of six or more negative points within the past three years or a major violation within the past four years. Pre-employment drug testing and FBI criminal background check required.
