Project Manager, S8G Prototype Refueling Overhaul
Provide project management leadership for new

development projects:
  • Lead and manage the development of project planning
estimates and related planning activities in one or
more technical areas.
  • Evaluate requests for scope, budget, or schedule
changes.
  • Act as liaison ensuring coordination of engineering,
financial, and supply chain management activities
across the project.
  • Track project progress, develop and deliver project
performance metrics. Take action to correct
deviations from plan.
  • Drive effective communications across technical
disciplines, the Program Office, and all levels of
the organization.
  • Coordinate project risk management activities across
one or more technical functions.

Additional activities:
  • Interact with other Project Managers and the
Planning Office to share/leverage best practices and
lessons-learned
  • Establish and document program management processes
and standards.
  • Interact with line managers across the project's
technical functions.
  • Develop/enhance project management tools and
utilities.

Job Requirements:
  • BS degree in engineering or project management with
minimum of 9 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with program management metrics for cost,
schedule, and performance.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Project, and
Powerpoint.
