The USCG data network is Windows 2003 and higher Forest. GDIT is tasked with providing full life cycle support to these systems and all support systems for both classified and unclassified networks. Currently supported systems and technologies include: Window 2003/2008, Active Directory Domain Services, VMWare, SQL with more technology planned for insertion.
Successful candidate will assist in design, implementation and maintenance of these technologies. Candidate must be experienced in migration strategies as well as DR for referenced platforms. Other third party applications are desirable, such as VERITAS, Retina and Gold Disk. It would be beneficial for the candidate to be familiar with STIGs and IAVA compliance and reporting.
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
8-10 years of related systems engineering experience.
