The salary range reflected above is the normal hiring range. The full salary range, including longevity pay, is $19.51 - $29.48 per hour.
Under direct supervision, to provide professional social services to a community orientated criminal justice system and the offenders involved therewith, and to perform related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Pass/Fail):
NOTE: BEHAVIORAL SCIENCE IS DEFINED BY THE ARROWHEAD REGIONAL CORRECTIONS BOARD AS PSYCHOLOGY (Includes Educational Psychology & Counseling), SOCIAL WORK (Includes Social Development), CRIMINAL JUSTICE, CORRECTIONS, CRIMINOLOGY, SOCIOLOGY AND SOCIAL SCIENCE.
- Completion of a Master's Degree in a Behavioral Science Field, including completion of clinical field work training/internship; or BA/BS Degree in behavioral science or a BA/BS Degree in any other field, including or supplemented by 40 credits in Behavioral Science, and one year of professional experience (full-time equivalent) in Social Work, Probation, Parole, or Social counseling.
EXPERIENCE & TRAINING ASSESSMENT (Supplemental Questions 100% of scoring process):
Points will be awarded for job-related experience and education exceeding the minimum qualifications. Only experience occuring during the ten most recent years will be used in determining this assessment. Experience beyond ten years may be included on the application for purposes of meeting minimum qualifications or informing the hiring authority of your complete employment history.
