Provides process and project engineering support services by performing the following duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Troubleshoots problems with production processes in all areas of the facility. Conducts investigations, recommendations corrections/solutions to management.
Develops design, installation cost, operating cost, and benefit / return for Capital and Expense projects.
Develops standard operating procedures. Reviews standard operating procedures for accuracy; updates and make changes as necessary.
Trains employees in existing and new production processes and equipment.
Generates reports on data findings and submits to appropriate management. Generates reports for capital and expense project spending as well as return on investment.
Analyzes plant data and develops trends from information gathered.
Recommends and implements procedures to reduce plant operating costs in regards to energy, waste and processes.
Any other duties or projects as assigned by management.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Chemical Engineering from four-year college or university; and one to five years experience in process and/or project engineering; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
