Position Description:

The top ranking sales executive for the division; responsible for sales & marketing alignment with the divisional goals; oversees sales staff, administrative support, travel & marketing budgets; works with key customers directly (or in support role) as required.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Strategy: establishes the sales and marketing plan
  • Sales & Marketing: work closely with sales team to develop customer strategy and relationships
  • Staff: develop a highly functioning team of executives
  • Financials: establishes budgets and sales goals; er
  • Execution: meet or exceed sales & profit targets

Line Items Responsibilities
  • Strategic Sales Plan: identify annual plan due October 1
  • Financials: in depth understanding of departmental financial results; monthly trend analysis and report
  • Marketing: develop annual marketing plan; update results quarterly
  • Customer relations: develop key customer strategic plan; annual meetings with key customers
  • Cash Management: weekly update for team on AR; help develop favorable payment terms with key customers
  • CRM: utilize this technology to track key customer opportunities; quarterly report

    The VP of Sales will have the following KSA’s:

  • Management: 10yrs of related sales management experience
  • Strategy: a history of creative, successful business ideas & decisions
  • Education: college degree
  • Experience: working knowledge of fabricated products and customers
  • Technical: experience with related industry software; CRM, Microsoft Office, etc.
