Rich's currently has a great opportunity for a Process Development Engineer Co-op. This position is in Research and Development department, located in Buffalo, New York. The product category in concentration is Toppings and Icings. Please apply to

The primary function of this position is to assist the Toppings & Icings Process Development Engineering Team with their projects. The student will utilize their fundamental engineering skills to perform experiments in our R&D Pilot Plant, analyze projects with low to high complexity. Collaborate with the Toppings and Icings Process Engineering Team to evaluate, validate and implement processing improvements to existing manufacturing systems, and develop proposal(s) for improvements. It is required that the candidate will participate on projects that will involve the research and literature reviews of emerging food process innovations that can be applied with or across product categories. This opportunity is available to a student who wants to make a difference, seeks challenges, and wants hands on experience in food process development.

What do I need to be considered a candidate?
Majors Required: Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, Biological Engineering
Education Requirements: Junior, or Senior year based on credit hours
Minimum GPA: 3.0
Computer Skills: PC/Internet skills, Microsoft Office (word, excel, power point) and the ability to create flow diagrams, spreadsheets
Other Requirements: Effective verbal, written and interpersonal skills, along with time management and organizational skills.
