The College of Agricultural, Human and Natural Resource Sciences ( CAHNRS ) Process Improvement and Human Resources (HR) Coordinator position serves as a skilled professional for the College and is responsible for providing services to College faculty and staff in Process Improvement and HR functional areas.

Process Improvement: Act as a high level process improvement consultant between college, business centers, department, research and extension centers, and remote sites to establish, enhance, and expedite process improvement. Implement processes and practices that can adapt quickly to changing organization, business, and demands.

Human Resources: Provide HR services for the College in, but not limited to: recruitment, classification, compensation, corrective/disciplinary action, FMLA /RA, training, performance management, organizational analysis and other functions relating to human resource management.

Position Qualifications

Required Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in a field relevant to area of specialization and three (3) years of experience directly related to the specialty area. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.

Additional Requirements
Three (3) years of experience directly related to the specialty area such as Processes and practices Improvement, HR services or related fields.

Effective written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills.

Active listener skills.

Must be self-directed and have strong planning skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of business process improvement methods and implementation models.

Ability to work with peers and facilitate employees in a team environment.

Ability to present outcomes and materials effectively.

Human Resources experience in a higher education setting.
