Hexcel-Burlington is currently seeking Process Technicians and NC Operators to join its team. These are off-shift positions.
Process Technician responsibilities include the operation of industrial equipment, such as band-type saws, multi-control ovens and forklift trucks, and hand tools requiring advanced mechanical skills. NC Operators have the primary responsibility of machining metallic and non-metallic honeycomb using a multi-axis NC mill. All positions work in a team environment to produce high quality composite parts in a timely manner. Positions are expected to be able to work both independently and with a high degree of detail and accuracy. New employees earn $14.23 per hour plus any applicable off-shift premiums. After six months of successful employment, employees can earn $16.17 per hour. Future increases are based on skills acquired and longevity in the position. Current recruitment is for swing and graveyard shifts only.
Applicants must show a stable work history, preferably in manufacturing and ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment. NC or other machining experience a plus. Production employees are required to be able to work all shifts. Applicants must present proof of US Person status prior to hire. These full-time positions require a high school diploma or GED, a copy of which (with graduation date blackened out) must be submitted prior to a job offer being made. A post-offer drug test and physical is required.
