Engineering Technical Group
This position requires knowledge and experience related to US Government Contracting in accordance with FAR Part 15, FAR Part 31 and the rules for Cost Accounting Standards.
Candidates must be able to document audit results of subcontractor proposals into a clear and concise report and work with Commodity Managers and suppliers to achieve fair and reasonable pricing. The individual will be a part of a cross-functional team of experts established to support U.S. Government proposals.
Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 8+ years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, cost analyst and price analysis practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
8 years experience in procurement.
- Evaluates vendor cost and pricing proposals 700K and above in support of US Government Contracts. Relies on financial experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Bachelor's degree preferred in Accounting, Finance or Supply Chain
Understands Manufacutring production enviornments and Material Planning systems.
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH U.S. GOVERNMENT CONTRACTS (FAR = Federal Acquisitions Regulations). Candidates that do not have the experience with government contracts will be rejected.
- Solid understanding of Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR Part 15) and Cost Accounting Standards.
- Strong computer skills - MS Office, ERP software and data management.
- Broad knowledge of general accounting, cost accounting and financial analysis and audit techniques.
