We’re looking for a Product Manager who is fanatical about games and wants to be part of one of the most exciting segments in the online world. If you have a passion for games and want to join one of the hottest companies on the web, here is your chance!
Own the relationship between 6waves and the games of multiple developers, coordinating and managing all aspects of the relationship
Maximize the engagement, virality, retention and fun factor in our games by analyzing key game performance metrics/game data and suggesting new game features and content, as well as helping the developer prioritize new features
Conduct user testing, collect user feedback through surveys and synthesize this information to provide recommendations to improve game play
Drive product marketing of games by supporting internal marketing with creative development and marketing plans
Drive the integration process for new games being added to the 6waves’ network
Collaborate with engineering, customer support, the localization teams and other groups to execute and manage projects, while keeping the projects on schedule
Evangelize games internally to create high awareness among key stakeholders
Manage and support the localization process for multiple games to help improve the user experience for players around the world
Be part of the decision making process of what new games should be added to the 6waves’ network
Help develop best practices around key metrics that can be shared and implemented across the games in the 6waves’ network by keeping up to date on the social gaming/Facebook game competitive landscape
Help with 6waves’ presence at events and conferences to evangelize our offering to the Facebook developer community
BA/BS with at least 2 years of work experience
Relevant past exposure to a product management or game producer role
Social networking, online gaming or social gaming experience a plus
Knowledgeable of the competitive landscape in social gaming/Facebook games
Comfortable and experienced working with data; can use data to drive decision making
Understanding of the key metrics used in social gaming
Understanding of UI/UX principles and the game development process
Passion for creating fun, compelling and addictive user experiences through games
Outstanding written and oral communication skills
Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail
Can lead multiple projects, while keeping the projects on schedule
Has experience and enjoys working in a collaborative work environment with multiple cross-functional teams across time zones and technologies
Creative thinker and a proactive worker with a positive attitude
Sense of humor; games are meant to be fun!
