Develop annual strategic and tactical marketing plans, as well as, promotional budgets for the brand and be responsible for all aspects of successful execution of tactical marketing plans.
Interact with regulatory, medical, legal, as well as outside agencies, to develop and implement a pre/post launch strategy and tactical plans for the soon-to-be launched product.
Duties will also include analyzing and interpreting primary and secondary market research and clinical trial results to develop and enhance brand strategy as well as tactical implementation
Day-to-day activities would include, managing advertising agency, public relations and marketing research vendors in the development of promotional campaigns and materials.
Form effective working relationship with the sales force in order to achieve corporate sales goals as well as developing and managing a marketing advisory panel of our sales representatives for development and testing of new promotional materials and campaigns.
Develop, manage, and execute various professional initiatives with physician members of our Advisory Board as well as establish and maintain relationships with key regional thought leaders in the neurological arena.
Set up and manage primary market research to support brand needs.
Monitors quality of market research projects and outputs, interprets results and provides action recommendations to marketing managers.
Develop and conduct annual situation analysis for input into brand marketing plans.
Manage the marketing research budget.

At least 5 years of pharmaceutical product management experience preferably with a background in Neurology marketing.
Field sales experience preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (e.g., marketing or business), MBA preferred.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a team environment
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and must be able to work independently and with-in commercial teams to drive results.
Demonstrates strategic & pro-active approach with therapeutic marketing/sales teams.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
Effectively organize projects and plans to ensure timely delivery of output.
Able to work well under pressure and in appreciation of pre-defined and often times aggressive timelines
Computer literate with MS Office products including PowerPoint, Word, Access and Excel. Excellent written, organizational and verbal communication skills a must.
Experience in developing and designing primary market research
Ability to travel at least 25% of the time.
