Lead lifecycle strategy and tactical plan for Vimpat in the US

q

Successfully lead cross-functional team

q

Successfully build and lead a team of marketing professionals

q

Leads the development of and delivers product financial forecasts and results

q

Highly self-aware, emotionally intelligent, team player – ability to strategically position multi-year, multi stakeholder product strategy and development

q

Develops and recommends US commercialization strategies and directly influences Global Commercialization strategies for Vimpat

q

Drives mid-term (3 Year) and long-term ( 10 Year) brand business plans that result in strategic initiatives and tactical programs that maximize the value of Vimpat in the epilepsy marketplace

q

Leads and develops a cross functional team to support Vimpat for epilepsy.

q

Directly leads and manages a team of 4-5 professional marketing managers to develop and implement tactics which realize the strategic vision for the brand

q

Drives marketing research plans with business analysis

q

Influences large expenditures and financial allocations across the CNS BU including field force and medical spend allocation

q

Acts as a member of the CNS leadership team in establishing BU vision, mission and annual objectives and participates in the overall leadership of the CNS BU.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with minimum 10 years pharmaceutical commercial experience in brand management, managed markets and sales.

Proven people management is an absolute necessity.

Demonstrated business acumen and experience with global lifecycle management are also important.

Proven leadership abilities in product management and business relationships

q

Broad USA CNS experience

q

Strong cross-functional awareness and leadership ability (sales, managed markets, market research, regulatory, medical affairs, global department, clinical development, etc.)

q

Experience working with outside advertising and medical education agencies

q

Proven experience writing and presenting business plans

q

Demonstrated ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing

q

Ability to work well with all levels of employees and to influence activities in related departments

q

Ability to work independently and make decisions with occasional consultation from supervisors

q

Ability to effectively use the Microsoft Office Suite of software
