WHAT YOULL BE DOING
In order to accelerate our leadership position in the rapidly evolving and high growth social activity advertising space, appssavvy seeks a Product Manager/Director who will be responsible for managing the full product lifecycle of our:
Publisher integration & ad experience API and management portal
Ad server integration and business reporting & analytics platform
appssavvy has developed a SaaS platform to aggregate social activity across a diverse network of web and mobile application publishers. You will work directly with a team of software architects, engineers, and QA managers and will own defining product requirements for our Social Activity Platform, adtivity.
This position reports directly to VP of Product Development and will be located at its headquarters in New York City or our San Francisco office.
THE DAY TO DAY
Conceive, define, and release new product features that increase the value of our Social Activity Platform.
Maintain a comprehensive and proactive understanding of the online advertising marketplace as it pertains to monetizing social activity across web and mobile social applications.
Work cross functionally in defining, designing and wire framing detailed functional product requirements and specifications.
Collaborate on all advertiser/publisher reporting initiatives.
Produce project plans and schedules, including risk analysis and status reports.
Manage the Product Road Map and prioritize the product feature backlog.
Actively participate in a fun and energetic, fast-paced team oriented environment.
Ability to multi-task, with an enthusiasm for problem solving.
WHAT YOU NEED TO QUALIFY
A curious mind and a passion for excellence.
4+ years of product management or product development experience, with at least one year in the digital media and advertising industry.
Experience with Agile and Scrum software development methodologies.
Experience with a variety of ad serving technologies, digital campaign management workflows, and agency trading desk platforms.
Expertise with one or more of the following ad serving technologies: DART, OAS, Atlas, or AdTech.
Expertise with UML modeling techniques.
Ability to manage products related to the delivery of rich-media and digital video ad formats to web and mobile clients.
Ability to learn new tools, technologies, and processes quickly.
Ability to work effectively with global teams across time zones, adapt to a rapidly changing environment, meet deadlines, and succeed under pressure.
