As a Product Manager you will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive, design and develop innovative consumer products. You must be responsive, flexible and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment.
The ideal candidate will have a background in the consumer electronics market, excellent communication (written and verbal) skills, be highly organized, manage internal and external team communications, be able to prioritize tasks, and maximize internal resources.
The Product Manager will be responsible for the overall roadmap for accessories developed at Lab126. We are looking for someone that is focused on user experiences, mobile technology savvy, and has a passion for reading. This person is business-oriented and is responsible for the development and implementation of the product plan.
Responsible for capturing, documenting, and communicating business requirements throughout all stages of the products’ development lifecycle.
Work with the ID and Supply Chain teams at Lab126 to optimize the accessories business from user experience, attach rates, profit margin, etc.
Shepherd accessory products through development with engineering.
Combine tactical roadmaps and requirements into a compelling product and communicate that vision within the organization.
Establish procedures for licensed 3rd party vendor support, product concept reviews, QBRs, quality assurance, sharing market insights, etc.
Bachelor degree with a technical discipline or equivalent experience required.
7+ years experience in product management.
Demonstrated experience shipping commercially successful accessory products to consumer market segments.
MBA or advanced technical degree desired.
Proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills as well as a proven track record of taking ownership and driving results.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to senior management, peers, team members, customers, press, and the analyst community.
Working knowledge of mobile technologies, products and tools.
Ability to keep up to date on new and competitive technologies.
Demonstrated track record of defining requirements and driving these across diverse organizations.
