Product Manager Digital Advertising

Location: Glendale, CA

Duration: 6 Months Contract to Hire

We are looking for an exceptional and ambitious individual to join our clients world class search engine marketing team.

This person will be responsible for overseeing our clients largest and most important accounts, facilitating coordination between operations teams, customer support and sales to provide a top notch customer experience. Additionally, this team member will support business managers and data analysts in generating reports and creating presentations.

The ideal candidate should possess advanced experience in search engine marketing (Google Adwords, Bing AdCenter and more), superb technical abilities, effective verbal and written communication skills, leadership skills. The Manager, Search Engine Marketing Product Management will monitor a large portfolio of accounts to identify performance trends and make recommendations to impact performance. This entails working closely with cross-functional teams and providing thought leadership and strategic guidance to impact performance.

You will focus on identifying individual underperforming accounts, portfolio trends, and taking actions to correct them where possible. This position reports to the Director of SEM.

Support teams fulfilling search engine marketing products for hundreds of local SMB advertisers Monitor the day-to-day performance to identify trends and suggest improvements to impact portfolio performance Communicate with sales team to set/correct customer expectations and resolve issues across cross-functional teams to maximize advertiser value Report on performance of portfolio to Director of Product Management, making recommendations to optimize performance of this key cohort Qualifications & Education:
An energetic, highly driven, can-do attitude! Team player who takes strategic direction well, collaborates with others, and brings a positive attitude to the group. 4+ years SEM campaign management experience minimum preferably with a strong Google campaign management background. Working knowledge of performance-based online advertising preferred Strong functional math skills and MS Excel skills are required, as SEM is all about the numbers. Excellent writing skills, verbal communication skills and attention to detail are also required Outstanding analytical ability & comfort with large data sets: Must have a data driven approach to solving problems. Requires very strong quantitative skills and a good sense of how to dissect problems. Must have expert Excel and presentation skills Excellent communication skills and the ability to achieve buy-in for your strategies across the organization Strong desire to work in a team-based environment that collaborates to bring great projects to market. Must be able to set priorities, drive momentum across the organization while conducting analysis to quickly arrive at an actionable solution Experience in revenue management: defining plans and driving revenue to exceed targets Bachelor's degree required.
