Join our team as a Product Manager over our General Industrial and Tool Products suppliers. As a Product Manager (better described as "Supplier Relations"), you will be responsible for researching and analyzing the assigned product lines, assisting in the development and implementation of strategies to optimize profit and meet corporate growth objectives, and supporting field sales personnel on the General Industrial and Tool product lines.
Specific job duties include, but are not limited to:
Participate in overall product strategy, research and development requirements
Assist in planning, negotiation, and evaluation of new products and services
Manage the profitability and performance of existing product lines and services
Negotiate rebates with current and new suppliers
Manage product line inventory levels in our distribution network
Coordinate marketing programs with suppliers
Plan new product launches with Marketing department
Bachelor's degree in business, sales and/or marketing related major with 3+ years of industry related work experience or equivalent. Negotiation experience and supplier relations experience is preferred.
