We have been engaged by our client to recruit candidates for their open Product Manager - Revenue Cycle Solutions position. This company offers a variety of solutions for providers and health plans across the country. In this role you will spend significant time conducting market analysis, competitive analysis, product innovation, customer validation, and assisting with pricing strategies for healthcare financial and revenue cycle management products, including HIPAA 835 and 820 transactions, ACH, Lockbox / OCR, Denial Management, Merchant and Payment Services.

Additional Responsibilities

•Align assigned products to General Manager’s vision and enterprise strategy. Set overall goals for assigned products.

•Ensure product roadmaps and P&L are aligned and executed in support of the business unit and enterprise goals.

•With the assistance of Product Marketing, define customer and market segmentation, and develop and validate business model.

•Conduct analysis and synthesis of market insights to proactively identify business opportunities, threats, and challenges and derive recommendations for input into strategic planning and product development.

•Assess market potential for the right segment/targets, develops the strategic business plan capitalizing on future market needs and opportunities.

•Function as the bridge between business and technology.

•Serve as the internal and external expert and provide product and market expertise to assist all sales channels.

•Participate in actual sales calls for customers or prospects.

Qualifications:
•4+ years of product management experience for the healthcare industry. This includes experience with product applications/solutions, knowledge of the associated trends, technology and competition that surrounds this area for the healthcare industry.

•Experience delivering “value added” healthcare products, services and product lines which utilize the HIPAA-compliant transaction sets.

•Specific experience with software-as-a-service (SaaS) products for the physician market with a solid understanding of Revenue Cycle Management products and services.

•Product Management expertise including: business case development, informatics, data analytics and/or reporting, market trends/analysis, new product introduction process, product roadmap development, product life-cycle management.

•In-depth Healthcare industry and Healthcare Revenue Cycle experience. Specifically, in depth experience with HIPAA 835 and 820 transactions, ERA Integration, Denial Management, ACH, Lockbox / OCR, and Merchant and Payment Services. Special consideration will be given for experience in a banking environment.

•Experience within the healthcare billing and administration sector, working with providers, health plans, clearinghouses or other organizations including comprehensive understanding of healthcare products, EDI transaction sets and real time processing systems.

•Experience working in an Agile and/or iterative development environment.

•Experience with HIPAA compliant EDI transactions (837, 835, 270, 271, 276, 277) is highly desired.

•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology or a related discipline required. Masters degree preferred.
