Position Responsibilities: This position will be responsible for marketing activities related to a line of autoimmune diagnostic products. Responsibilities include life-cycle management as well as support of international sales teams and marketing aspects of new product development including market research, definition of customer requirements, launch and training. The position will require up to 20% travel, both domestic and international.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry or similar technical field. An MBA/Master’s/PhD is a plus.
Experience: 3+ years in product management or sales/marketing or equivalent experience in Clinical Diagnostics or similar industry. Experience in the autoimmune disease market and knowledge of autoimmune testing strongly preferred. Experience in developing and implementing successful sales or marketing strategies preferred. International experience preferred.
Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Self motivated with good organization skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to analyze and dissect competitive information, market research and customer data to deliver on commitments and delight the customer. Ability to learn technical information related to chemistry and instrumentation is desired.
