The Adobe Consumer group is looking for an exceptional product marketer to join our organization in San Jose or San Francisco. In this position, you will develop and manage the go-to-market strategies for the market leading photo and video editing software - Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements. This role will also manage the marketing for two consumer photo and video mobile apps. Responsibilities include developing the go-to-market strategy; defining, delivering and maintaining product messaging, as well as, a keeping the teams up to date on the competitive landscape.
Product Marketing Responsibilities
Develop and manage WW go-to-market strategy for photo and video editing desktop and mobile apps.
Develop product messaging in partnership with product management to successfully communicate clear value proposition.
Work with product management to influence the product roadmap based on changing market dynamics and new business opportunities.
Become an expert on the apps and the consumer competitive landscape.
Review and analyze app data to inform marketing strategy.
Work cross functionally with product management, other marketing managers, acquisition and engagement teams to ensure appropriate information transfer and consistency.
Present and demonstrate products to internal and external audiences, including employees, press partners, conferences, and customers.
Monitor the competition and be aware of market changes and developments
Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years in consumer marketing (mobile marketing and/or subscription knowledge a big plus)
Experience developing marketing strategies and managing a business.
Strategic marketing skills - messaging, strategy development and execution, program/project management, market research, competitive analysis.
Familiarity with new routes to market as electronic distribution, app stores and subscription.
Knowledge of mobile marketing, online and social media
Experience with analyzing mobile data and using Omniture analytics, a plus.
Highly motivated, business focused, and flexible - demonstrating abilities to execute on comprehensive plans and show results.
Experience in managing projects with cross functional teams and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Strong interpersonal skills; proven ability to collaborate with colleagues across different functions.
