The individual will own Go-To-Market strategies for a subset of products in the HDS Data Protection Software portfolio.
The ideal candidate will have strong Data Protection or Storage Management Product Marketing expertise and be an outstanding team player with proven ability to thrive in cross functional team environments.
Candidates with Data Protection experience and excellent communication skills in the following related disciplines will also be considered - Technical writing, education and curriculum development, technical sales and consulting.
Job Functions
Develop messaging and compelling value propositions for designated products
Develop GTM plans and ensure effective execution through end-to-end alignment across various Marketing, Product Management, Business Development and Sales organizations.
Produce and deliver Customer facing content and Sales tools to help achieve growth and revenue targets e.g. Web copy, collateral, sales kits and demos
Lead product launches and help produce supporting materials
Brief Industry Analysts, Press and Customers on designated products as appropriate
Provide business reports and metrics to measure market performance of designated products
Qualifications
Requires a talented and flexible individual with strong presentation skills, adept business knowledge, and strong aptitude for translating technical feature sets into compelling marketing messages and materials. Additional requirements include:
7+ years of data protection or storage management product marketing experience or related discipline in the same field
Extensive technical background in computer industry
