Description

This position focuses on the daily detail (key performance measures), data-mining and execution of agreed action plans. The PMM is a multi-disciplined position, combining the skills of process manager, project manager and technology/supplier merchandiser.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Primary focus on semiconductor suppliers by building relationships with key suppliers in order to expand the semiconductor offer.

Review category strategies for semiconductor lines, ensuring robust execution plans are in place and being delivered to plan.

Provides forecasts for all new semiconductor products and provide key input of portfolio reviews.

Responsible for the management of tactical activities for specific suppliers (strategic and tactical lines) or specific high opportunity commodities.

Ensure we offer our customers the latest innovation and broaden our offer with new technologies while delivering annual cost reduction, optimized inventory turns and protecting revenue from discontinued products.

Provides communication of the semiconductor strategy and results to management.

Owner of product/supplier/technology sales forecasts and budgets for semiconductor lines.

Maintains and monitors price and profit margin strategies for semiconductor lines.

Leads new product introduction planning and execution activities with Content, Marketing and Ecommerce to ensure launch success.

Acquires and provides technology and product information for on-line and off-line marketing projects which represents real world benefits for the customer.

Coordinates relevant semiconductor training with Sales Management and the Training department.

Manages agreed projects to time and budget and clearly communicates outcome to all interested parties

Works closely with Inventory Managers to ensure timely receipt of product in-house to coincide with product marketing promotions.

Gathers and formulates marketing content for campaigns and promotions.

Is commercially aware and looks for new product opportunities.

Education and/or Experience

Prefer a four year degree in Business or related field with 4-6 years of similar experience in the electronic distribution industry. Experience may be substituted for degree.
