As part of the Global Product Marketing team, the Product Launch Manager will work across the FTI organization globally to organize, plan, project manage and execute new product and share class launches. In this capacity, this individual will institute effective processes, communications and reporting tools to ensure that marketing efforts to support product and share class launches are planned and executed smoothly and effectively.
In addition, the individual in this role will take on responsibility for managing marketing communication initiatives of moderate scope, often in conjunction with other members of the Product Marketing team. Responsibilities may include development, management and optimization of the array of marketing materials needed to support the business globally and across the firm’s spectrum of investment products. Specific deliverables include (but are not limited to) sales pitch books, product profiles, client materials, product-related web content, and internal sales tools.
Project Management & Project Planning – New Product and New Share Class Launches:
Work across the organization to set and communicate project objectives.
Prepare project plans & schedules; assemble stakeholders; and track projects against milestones.
Develop and manage project governance including project team meetings, status reports, etc.
Oversee that project communications including product education and marketing deliverables are developed and delivered in a high quality and time-sensitive manner.
Ensure that all requirements, project plans, and changes to commitment are communicated to all affected team members.
Manage relationships across the organization and navigate through organizational dependencies in order to ensure a successful product launch.
Develop and execute implementation, change, and transition plans.
Communicate with and influence internal and external stakeholders regarding key project objectives and steps and to ensure buy-in.
Share and socialize knowledge among team members.
Escalate issues to others with more experience and/or authority when necessary.
Administratively close out projects, conducting post implementation review, benefits review, lessons learned, publishing information, and implementing improvement opportunities. Prepare regular reports that communicate the status of initiatives across the organization, including senior management.
Product Marketing Management:
Partner closely with other members of the Product Marketing Team, Product Management, Product Insights and other constituencies to develop marketing stories for assigned projects.
Develop and support product-related marketing materials and content globally and across the firm’s spectrum of investment products
Seek to drive business results by identifying opportunities to enhance/strengthen our marketing materials and messaging.
Collaborate across Global Business Services to develop and produce marketing materials to support assigned product launches or marketing initiatives.
Oversee assigned marketing material development projects to ensure quality, proper execution, and timely completion. Review materials and communications for regulatory compliance and coordinate routing of material to required reviewers
Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations.
Ongoing department related responsibilities:
Participate in department/division meetings.
Perform other duties as requested by department leadership
Ideal candidates will have:
3-5 years minimum product marketing and/or project management experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent training
Experience working in a global organization
Finra Series 6 or Series 7
Strong project management skills
Understanding of and experience with developing marketing communications to support investment products and/or new product launches
Experience managing complex projects desirable
Understanding of international investment markets is a plus.
Prior experience in the asset management industry is highly desirable
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with persons contacted in the course of performing assigned duties including Company management and outside business associates
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work effectively amid ambiguity, and forge effective
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to organize and prioritize workflow and to coordinate the work of others
Ability to maintain updated knowledge of procedures, products and activities of assigned area
Ability to adhere/respond to established time frames and schedules
Knowledge of business desktop applications (i.e.: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access & Project, Windows, Visio, etc.) required
Ability to maintain a professional image

This position may be required to travel to and from FTI offices
