Under general direction of the Manager Production Operations;
The Production Control Analyst collaborates with various IT teams and business partners to establish and maintain automated data control rules that validate, balance, and/or reconcile data entering or leaving the company in effort to secure patient health information (PHI). Analyst will be responsible for continuous development and delivery of data control rules for the production environment. These deliverables incorporate user dashboards for projects and user requests built on a packaged software suite of tools such as Infogix. The Production Control Analyst will perform research, analysis, documentation, development, implementation and validation activities for all portfolios (Corporate projects, IT Projects, or Production Anomalies) related to data control and reporting. Works with process owners, decision-makers and other key end users to define data control solutions, and process impacts to produce quality design documentation within the defined schedule. Supports Testers for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Integrated System Testing by clarifying any design or implementation questions. Reviews, analyzes, and resolves production related issues to existing data control applications in collaboration with other team members. Provides day-to-day support, including but not limited to monitoring of production processes, execution and validation of maintenance related changes, participation in code inspections, and researching potential issues. Collaborate with IT and business partners to support Production and Testing issues related to data validation discrepancies. Responsible for design, development, implementation and publishing of metrics and trend reports within data control software solution (such as Infogix). Key point of contact for IT Security and Compliance team for audits and data disclosure investigations. Leads continuous improvement and process development initiatives across IT in using the data control tools to strengthen overall production operations. Provides support to business users to diagnose problems, clarify and document requirements, and advise on system use.
May assist with facilitation of understanding and estimating enhancements requested from Business Partners. Confers with manager on problems and symptoms. Confers with manager on status of work assignments, as well as problems and symptoms of production support related issues. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to regulatory compliance requirements.Executes work assignments in accordance with IT Framework, Change, Release, Environment, and Incident Management Policies and Procedures. Accurately tracks and logs actual hours worked against appropriate tasks in time tracking application. Performs other related duties as assigned. Minimum Education: Bachelor s Degree or equivalent combination of education and business experience required in Health Care/Business Administration, Software Quality Assurance, Computer Science or related field. Minimum Experience: 2+ years data analysis, IT controls, test analyst or systems analyst experience. Experience in workload automation is a plus. Experience with data control within single and across multiple applications and systems, databases, and applications. Experience in working multiple projects simultaneously.
" Experience with data analysis, validation and reporting methodologies. Understanding of health care business/delivery process strongly preferred Required Skills: Programming in a distributed environment (Java preferred). Data validation and/or data analysis strongly desired. Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills. Knowledge of SQL desired. Knowledge of Facets, MaxMC and Macess experience a plus. Understanding of concepts and practices for IT Services Management (like ITIL)
