The POSSIBLE Production Designer has a varied skill-set, able to pump out templates for page based interaction, experiment with multiple approaches in multivariate/optimization efforts and generate original visual directions for web-based media. The Designer needs to be flexible, efficient and detail oriented as well as a master of type and layout, with the ability to take that expertise into Motion Studies (After Effects, Flash, etc). HTML and CSS is a plus.
Every good idea comes down to execution and that responsibility falls largely on the shoulders of the production designer. Can you design your cake and eat it too? Do you dwell on the details and obsess on perfection? Then come help us build some great stuff in a more efficient manner as a designer working in our production group.
Demonstrates and maintains standards of excellence in illustration, typography, photography and new creative arenas as they emerge.
Works in conjunction with Art Director/Senior Designer to ensure maximum effectiveness of various concepts.
Ability to take Photoshop comps and translate them into motion studies for various platforms (mobile,desktop,etc).
Understanding of design for Multivariate and A/B testing a plus.
Strong design portfolio.
Thorough knowledge of design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Flash.
Ability to turn design into CSS and HTML for delivery to development group a great bonus.
Working knowledge of Keynote or Powerpoint.
Understanding of typography in both print and screen media
Must demonstrate attention to detail in all aspects of design and production.
General understanding of browser/platform constraints as they affect online design.
