This position is to plan, direct, and monitor the Production and Packaging of food products that conform to Dianne's Fine Desserts quality standards and those of our customers. To manage all related functions such as budget preparation, forecasting, cost control, productivity, safety, maintenance, labor relations, conformance to all regulatory requirements, and support all continuous improvement initiatives.
Report daily production efficiency to Production Manager, review cost performance for weekly/monthly forecasting
Recommend training programs to H.R., to ensure development of hourly and salaried employees
Review weekly downtime data with Maintenance Manager to insure equipment is properly maintained to achieve plant standard efficiency
Maintain GMP's and assure compliance with various governmental regulatory agencies.
Participate in the GFSI/FSSC22000 yearly audit and assist in the development of procedures & corrective actions.
Establish production schedules
Daily contact with all Staff Members in assessing priorities
Annual contact with FDA, AIB, Corporate auditors for compliance to regulations
Adherence and tracking of Operational Budgets
Evaluate performance of subordinates
Customer representatives and vendor representatives
Establish safety, production, quality goals, and continuous improvement projects.
Bachelor degree in Business or Sciences with 5 years experience in supervisory operations.
Good written and oral skills.
Demonstrate leadership skills, problem solving skills and organization skills. Be able to delegate responsibility down the organization.
Possess ability to communicate and to lead an organization.
