SNEI is looking
for Support Engineers with excellent troubleshooting skills to join a
growing support team in the Production Services organization. The mission of
this group is to provide 24/7 operational support of the Sony Network Platform
and to manage all inbound support requests to the team while working with
internal and external teams to drive issues to resolution within defined SLAs.

Primary Responsibilities

:

Provide support for the
Sony Network Platform

Investigate,
troubleshoot, and triage production software/application/service issues and
misuse

Create/maintain support
documentation

Interface with Sony
groups and external parties to provide application support

Fulfill business support
service requests (troubleshooting, log reviews, etc.)

Systems, applications,
and performance monitoring

Utility/tools
development to improve support processes

Qualifications

BS degree in computer
science or equivalent

Customer service
mentality - calm, customer-oriented communication

3-5 years systems
administration and/or software development experience

Programming experience
in either Java or C++ desirable

Experience
troubleshooting complex systems and applications on Unix/Linux platforms

Experience using source
control, bug tracking, and ticketing systems in a team environment

Ability to work with
limited supervision

Additional Attributes

Good understanding of
software development processes

Familiarity with Apache,
Tomcat, Splunk, Arcsight Logger & ESM, and other open source technologies

Understanding of PCI DSS
Environments and Security a plus

Client-side database programming
experience with SQL, Perl, OCI would be a plus

Strong troubleshooting
and QA skills desired
