The Professional Services Engineer will work with customers to design and develop custom additions to and back-office integrations with our platform. They will be responsible for analyzing and understanding customers’ applications, data and infrastructure and identifying and implementing the most effective solution.
Responsibilities:
Work with customer to understand requirements, design, provide estimates, develop software, test, write documentation and resolve issues.
Provide technical consulting to customers. Analyze and understand clients systems and infrastructure produce system design documents.
Identify new integration features in Customer solution requirements and coordinate with software engineers to deliver the functionality
Provide technical training to the customer technical staff
Ensure compliance with standards/guidelines
Qualifications:
At least 3 years experience in client facing Professional Services or similar consulting roles for a SaaS product/platform
Ability to articulate technical topics clearly and concisely to both business and technical audiences in both written and verbal form
Advanced Design and Requirements Documentation experience
Expert knowledge and programming of LAMP(PHP) stack , C#, or Java
Experience building solutions on and around open source tools
Degree in Computer Science or related program
Experience with SVN or other code management systems.
Extensive Linux user experience
2-3 years Data Base Experience as DBA or writing DB applications is a plus
Experience with ETL Tools is a plus
Experience with API’s such as REST or Soap
