The Department of Transnational Studies at SUNY Buffalo invites applications for the position of Associate Director of the Canadian Studies Program and Director of Graduate Studies in the department. We seek a senior scholar who is recognized as a leader in the field, who has a record of scholarship and teaching commensurate with the rank of Associate or full Professor. The successful candidate will be expected to make substantial contributions to Canadian Studies and to assume leadership over the graduate programs in Transnational Studies. The ideal candidate will also be able to contribute to the Caribbean Studies M.A. Program and to the creation of a new M.A. program in African and African American Studies. We particularly welcome applications from candidates with a well-established, interdisciplinary research program, a strong record of teaching and an interest in service to the department and University as a whole.
