The Extended Learning Program Administrator will oversee the delivery of high-quality extended learning services for multiple schools within a district or across multiple districts. The Program Administrator will recruit students and staff, manage program operations, provide leadership, expertise and ongoing support to program teacher/tutors, and work in partnership with schools and families to support student learning.

Main Responsibilities:
Program Oversight

Implement the extended learning programs within the assigned schools

Conduct regular site visits to determine the effectiveness of programs, instructional delivery, customer service, process, and compliance with local, state and Global Partnership Schools requirements

Collect and evaluate evidence of documented attainment of student learning goals, and/or multiple and specific intervention efforts employed by our teacher/tutors to address the needs of students

Evaluate the student management plan at each Extended Learning location, and monitor to ensure students are receiving instruction in a safe environment

Staff Recruitment, Management and Support

Interview, hire, assign, train, and supervise lead coaches and teacher/tutors for Extended Learning programs in the assigned schools

Provide leadership, expertise, training, and ongoing support to lead coaches and teacher/tutors

Communicate clear, consistent high expectations to all teacher/tutors and lead coaches

Conduct ongoing professional development for teacher/tutors

Celebrate successes and provide positive support, encouragement and on-going recognition and/or performance improvement feedback to employees

Client Relations

Develop and sustain positive relationships with site school principals and staff, parents, and the community at-large

Student Recruitment and Enrollment

Continuously develop new opportunities to introduce Global Partnership Schools programs to more schools, and to provide access for more students.

Grow programs that recruit, enroll and retain students by applying strict adherence to district and State-approved procedures and Global Partnership Schools standards of integrity and ethics

Community Relations

Gather input from all constituent groups to continuously improve service delivery

Develop partnerships with public and private agencies


Serve as the point person for correspondences with the district(s) and across the entire school community

Ensure the on-time completion and submission of all required documentation necessary to fulfill our obligations to the school district(s)

Manage program materials including curriculum, computers and classroom supplies and ensure timely deployment to the field and return to the central office

Monitor and verify attendance of staff and students using prescribed methods

Monitor and verify the integrity of student performance data, ensuring the timely collection and submittal of required reports to the school, district, state and Global Partnership Schools

Manage the program staffing process working in partnership with the central Human Capital Department

Complete additional reports and duties, as assigned

Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s Degree preferred)

Preferred 3 years of experience as an effective school administrator, program administrator, or after-school site coordinator

Preferred certification in education administration

State teaching certification, preferably dual-certified, ESOL, special education, reading, and/or elementary

Bilingual (preferred);

Experience working with diverse populations

Evidence of successfully raising student achievement

Proven ability to work effectively and to build relationships with school administration, staff, parents, students, community agencies and businesses


Excellent written and oral communication skills

Strong organizational skills; timely, reliable and accurate record-keeping abilities

Model of integrity and ethics

Strategic thinker and problem solver, adept at tactical execution of programs

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Internet (access required to submit on-line reports)

Flexible schedule. This position is not intended for candidates with full-time teaching responsibilities.
