This position will provide general office support for the MBA Career Management Center. The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Office Support

  • Provide front-line support and superior customer service to all constituents
  • Respond to inquiries and provide constituents with assistance and support in a timely and professional manner
  • Prepares communications, reports, and other departmental documentation
  • Create marketing and advertising materials for events/programs
  • Assists with the maintenance of the departmental website and email account
  • Manage the office database of on-line surveys (creating and maintaining surveys and data as needed)
On-Campus Recruiting Support

  • Set up interview rooms prior to employer arrival
  • Check-in employers and provide them with any assistance as requested
  • Generate weekly reports and populate/format weekly e-newsletter(s)
  • Create signage for all interview days and employer information sessions
  • Coordinate resume packets for OCR employers using iPads
Event Support

  • Coordinate career-related and employer events in their entirety (location, advertising, catering, etc.)
  • Oversee the recruiter host process and ensure coverage for company presentations
Job Posting Support

  • Serve as a resource for staff and employers to assist them in the job posting process
Other duties:
  • Performs other work related duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.
Education and Experience

BA/BS required. Experience in recruiting, employer relations, or event planning in a corporate or university environment preferred. Ability to maintain composure in fast-paced environment and provide flawless customer service. Must possess a professional demeanor with exceptional organizational, written and oral communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks/priorities while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. Highly motivated, demonstrates initiative, positive attitude, and possesses the ability to work with a broad range of internal and external constituents. Strong command of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required. Experience with a job listing database (e.g., Symplicity) preferred. Ability to work early morning and evening hours during peak recruiting times.
