Community Counseling & Mediation (CCM), a Brooklyn-based social service organization, is currently seeking a Program Director for one of its permanent supportive housing programs based in Crown Heights. The program houses fourteen families who are formerly homeless and who have at least one member living with HIV or AIDS.

  • Responsible for the overall supportive service program at the facility
  • Liaise with property management company regarding facility operation, maintenance, rent collection, and annual tenant tax credit re-certification
  • Supervise all program employees and consultants, including assessment and quality assurance activities
  • Utilize HMIS software system to track client data and outcomes
  • Collaborate with Department of Homeless Services to ensure timely filling of facility vacancies
  • Complete Annual Progress Reports (APR) and Notification of Funding Availability (NOFA)
  • Ensure that program continues to meet standards for audits/site monitoring
  • Comply with corrective action plans and other funder documentation as needed
  • Develop formal linkages with local community groups, area coalitions, churches, hospitals, and service providers
  • Build program capacity through outreach to innovative therapeutic consultants and programmatic partners
  • Graduate degree in public administration, business administration, social work, or a related field
  • Three to five years of supervisory and/or managerial experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience/familiarity working with PLWHA/homeless is a plus
  • Experience managing a community-based program is a plus
