Program Director I - Youth and Teen
Location: Plant City Family YMCA
FLSA/Hours: Full-time, exempt
This rapidly changing and dynamic $34.4 million Association is seeking a proven, self-motivated, cause-driven professional to join the Tampa YMCA team. The Program Director I will oversee all youth sports, aquatics, youth programming/development and teen activities. Sports programs include basketball, volleyball, t-ball, and flag football. Teen activities include Leaders Club and Youth in Government. The Plant City Family Y has an overall budget of over $1.5 million dollars and serves a membership base of over 3,300 membership units. The Program Director I will be directly responsible for the oversight and management of a $110,000 budget. In addition, the Program Director I will be indirectly responsible for overall member satisfaction and retention of members through the delivery of high quality programs and services within their scope of work. The successful candidate must be a strong team player with the ability to effectively manage multiple areas of the operation. The Program Director I will be a key leader for the branch and will work effectively and collaboratively with the assigned cabinet teams to increase participation and overall growth of programs. This position will model the behavioral values established by the Association and will have proven skills as a high functioning, "multi-tasker". The Program Director I will work with and report to the Executive Director to provide the highest quality programs and services designed to help achieve the established goals and objectives set forth in the Vision 2020 Strategic Plan.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred. 3-5 years experience in directing youth program services at a YMCA and/or related experience. Strong skills in staff supervision, program development and delivery and volunteer development. Excellent customer relations skills a must! Successful completion of pre-employment drug test and background screening.
Salary: $34,500 - $39,000
