This position is contingent on award of contract. COLSA is seeking a Program Manager for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Cyber Security Management Center (CSMC) at Leesburg, VA. The primary objective of the CSMC is to enhance the security of the DOT network infrastructure, mission support systems, and administrative systems. Its goals are to protect, prevent, detect, respond, and recover. Provides force structure and personnel management support.
Provide managerial leadership and direct support for problem definition, analysis, requirements development, and implementation of complex projects and programs. Supervise, coordinate, and exert authority for planning, organizing, controlling, integrating and completing projects. Responsible for the effective management of critical project issues such as funds, personnel and delivery of contractual items. Oversee and evaluate complex project requirements and developments while providing guidance, decisive resolutions, and expert advice. Responsible for enforcing work standards, developing schedules, reviewing work discrepancies and communicating policies, purposes, and goals of the organization. Assist in insuring that staffing, facilities, and equipment are adequate for the successful completion of the project. Serve as the liaison with other departments, outside customers and regulatory personnel.
BS/BA in related field required
Masters degree in technical or cyberspace discipline preferred
Minimum of 15 years work related experience required
FAA CSMC or operations background preferred
Security Clearance: Top Secret with SCI Eligibility
Demonstrated ability to work with senior FAA or federal leadership
