Job Description:
ICF International is adding staff to its energy efficiency team in Ohio to support a wide range of energy efficiency programs. Our clients include utilities, recognizable Fortune 500 global corporations, as well as a variety of industry, and Government organizations. We seek an established Program Manager to take a significant role in the implementation of energy efficiency programs that will deliver and expand our offerings in Ohio.

Key Responsibilities:
Managing a multi-functional project team comprised of technical and marketing specialists (ICF internal staff and subcontractors) to ensure timely and professional completion of all tasks and achieve annual program goals

Overseeing all external communication activities to make certain all messaging is accurate and consistent

Working closely with team to develop strategies to influence market adoption of home performance and energy efficiency services

Recruiting residential partners and providing ongoing technical, marketing and sales support

Conducting market ally outreach and training as needed

Establishing and maintaining relationships with key market actors in the residential home improvement industry including but not necessarily limited to contractors, real estate agents, home energy rating specialists, weatherization agencies, and public officials

Analyzing energy efficiency and renewable energy measures and making recommendations on how best to integrate cost-effective measures into home performance and energy efficiency practices

Managing budgets and resources to maximize efficiencies

Preparing project status reports to accurately monitor progress towards client's energy efficiency and/or market transformation goals, completion of contract deliverables and report annual achievements (infrastructure developed, projects delivered, kW and kWh achieved, spillover benefits such as natural gas savings, emission reductions, etc.

Identifying risks and implement mitigation plans

Developing and implementing long-term business plans for growing energy efficiency work in the residential sector in the Ohio

Positioning ICF with utilities and other market actors to expand our offerings in Ohio and surrounding areas.

Basic :
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related subject

8+ years of experience developing and running successful energy efficiency programs, with specific expertise in residential energy issues

Demonstrated capabilities in building and maintaining relationships with key market actors in the residential home improvement industry including contractors, real estate agents, home energy rating specialists, weatherization agencies, and public officials

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Master's degree in Business, Engineering or related subject

Experience managing consulting projects with private and public sector clients, including providing quality control and budget accountability

Experience managing projects and interacting with public utility commissions, other regulatory bodies, and key stakeholders or interveners

Experience with the energy efficiency program market and utility companies/programs in Ohio, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Kentucky

Familiarity with the home improvement market and with residential energy efficient and renewable technologies and cost-effectiveness

Expert knowledge of integrated or whole house building science principles

Knowledge of energy efficiency and US policies for residential energy

Knowledge of emerging energy efficiency technologies and water efficiency

Knowledge of sustainable building practices and technologies

Professional Skills:
Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills

Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision making capabilities

Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information

Ability to apply detailed knowledge of organizational procedures to make independent decisions and serve as a credible resource for a senior management team

Ability to work with all levels of internal staff, as well as outside clients and vendors
