Seeking a Program Manager to work in our Facilities Program Management Department in our Minneapolis, MN office. Preferably have experience with managing design/build Food & Beverage projects. Responsibilities will include leading multi-discipline teams and contributing talent in Program Management, Permitting, Engineering, Project Controls and Construction. In this position, the candidate will support other Sr. Program Managers. Significant travel is expected. Position will require ability to manage multiple staff members, in multiple offices/regions and will require the ability to interact and coordinate with multiple client project team members and stakeholders. This position also functions as a Project Manager/Construction Engineer supporting both engineering management & construction administration including oversight of contractors. The candidate must be successful at determining & implementing the needs of the client, coordinating engineering/design with POWER’s design PM, procuring work from contractors, delivering the client’s safety program, site observation and coordination of the contractors implementing the work and handling coordination within the client for FAT testing, Start Up, Commissioning and Close Out of the systems being installed. Candidate must have the ability to adapt to the various internal procedures of the client which is essential in ensuring that the key issues of cost, time, quality and above all, client satisfaction, can be realized.

Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years direct experience in the food & beverage industry and have 7+ years of project management, engineering & construction experience, minimum BS in Engineering, Construction or related field. The candidate’s experience should include development and tracking of schedules, budgets with cost analysis, construction administration, materials management, management of engineering and client project teams, proposal writing & presentation skills, business acumen, technical process validation and supervisory skills. Candidates need to be able to work successfully in a customer focused, project oriented environment & have very supportive skills in making sure teammates are able to succeed within the guidelines and direction provided during project execution. Must have strong command of the English language with good written and oral communications skills. Ideal candidate should be a self-starter and work independently. EEO/AA Employer.
