Program Manager serves as solution delivery expert for the design and implementation of assigned application areas. Drives and is accountable for operational excellence of assigned program(s). Manages budgets and contracts associated with program(s) or initiative(s). Manages activities of project team resources. Maintains effective working relationships with peers and vendors. Coordinates program support activities.
GE is at a critical juncture of its Global Workforce Management strategy. This role would be focused on helping to develop and execute a technology roadmap to help better re-organize / re-implement Oracle HR EBS and work to leverage our Oracle HR EBS system as a service oriented platform that can seamlessly integrate with various business process vs. operating as a monolithic ERP application. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
Set the overall EBS organization, back-end structure, strategy and technology roadmap for Oracle EBS
Partner with Development Leader to rationalize the role of how Oracle SOA Suite integrates with the Oracle EBS back end
Lead and implement projects leveraging the EBS structure strategy & roadmap that you create
Set the overall Business Group Consolidation Re-organization and implementation strategy and roadmap, in partnership with others on the OHR and HR Systems team’s
Lead and implement projects that leverage the strategy & roadmap that you create
Partner with the Operations Lead to ensure OHR is on the correct patch level and we are most current according to standard GE practices
Actively participate in the appropriate Oracle Council(s) to ensure the OHR team is kept up to date and is represented in regards to GE’s overall Oracle strategy and recommendations
Lead projects that ensure Oracle HR is kept current with Oracle’s release level in accordance with standard GE practices and timing
Lead the design, implementation and maintenance of other large / complex IT solutions for GE's HR organization
Plan, prioritize, and manage project(s) and associated resources
Manage several project teams and provide day-to-day direction of global resources
Work as a Business Partner with clients and all GE Businesses to evaluate / improve processes related to Human Resources
Work with assigned business partners to drive simplification in business process, software development lifecycle rigor, and quality application delivery
Prepare and review project plans, status reports, cost / benefit studies, and recommend funding and resources
Provide bi-weekly updates to executive leadership on project status
Leverage LEAN to eliminate waste and reduce data load cycle times across HR Systems landscape
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Management or other technical / IT field preferred
Minimum 8 years of experience in information technology project management, IT systems, processes and controls
Minimum 5 years of experience with Oracle ERP applications (Oracle EBS 11.5.x or 12.x)
Minimum 2 years of experience with Oracle OAF and / or 1 year or experience in ADF
Minumum 1 year of experience with SOA
Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
Willing to work out of an office in Visteon Village, Wayne County, Van Buren Township, MI (near Ann Arbor / Detroit)
Be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act

Minimum 3 years with hands-on technical experience with Oracle ERP’s and Application Development
Experience leading onshore and offshore teams and contractors
Experience leading technically challenging development projects

Experience working with a global team
Demonstrated customer focus – builds strong customer relationships and partners with customers to help shape future initiatives
