Project Manager- Platform
Olympusat is looking for a talented Product Manager to drive the conceptual and technical development of the Olympusat Platform & Software team. The Olympusat Platform is the set of technologies that enables the distribution of video and media content across websites, iPhones, iPads, Roku, Xbox, cable operator platforms, and more. Platform Product Managers work closely with platform engineering, product design, and teams throughout the company to define the products and manage the projects related software and technology. This position is full time and based in our main offices in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Write specifications, prioritize features, build consensus and coordinate product schedules with a team of world-class engineers.
Facilitate communication throughout the development process between a variety of internal teams including: engineering, design, operations, PR, customer support, executive, and others.
Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to ensure products satisfy customer needs.
Understand Olympusat's strategic and competitive position, and work to define and deliver the best products which maintain, shape, and improve that position.
Inform the roadmap with new, justifiable ideas to enhance existing functionality or introduce new features.
Maximize efficiency in a constantly changing and growing environment where the process is fluid and creative and unique solutions are desired.
Experience working with developers and consumer facing products.
Great written and oral communication skills.
Organizational and analytical skills.
Exceptional technical abilities and ability to work with engineers – you should have experience with and working knowledge of apps, websites, e-commerce, and TV streaming.
