Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations

Manages programs and projects for the development and/or implementation of service offerings. Coordinates departmental and/or cross-functional teams focused on delivering new or upgraded services. Directs and coordinates the work activities of the project team.
Defines and develops program scope, objectives, detailed plans, budgets and metrics for small, medium, and large projects and/or portions of complex projects. Responsible for adherence to program plan and budget. Identifies and recommends corrective actions.
Plans, monitors, and tracks execution throughout all program phases to ensure all milestones and deliverables are achieved on time, and creates and reports on project metrics.

Specific Knowledge/Skills

Bachelors degree required.
8-10 years experience, with at least 6 as a program or project manager managing large projects in a technology environment.
Ability to lead large programs or portions of very complex programs. High level of organizational skills with experience managing services and/or products from concept to commercial launch using program gates/phases. Proven ability to deliver on commitments.
Experience with project management tools and processes, project planning, tracking, reporting, and issue management and resolution.
Experience working with portfolio/product management and development organizations. Experience leading cross-functional teams.
Experience in a service organization a significant plus.
PMP certification is preferred.
